Privacy
What EDFlow stores about your emergency visit and for how long, who can see what, why notifications never include health details, and how to keep your visit private on a shared phone.
Tell a staff member now
Don't wait for a reply on your phone. Tell any nurse or staff member right away, or press your call bell. If you're in the waiting room, go to the triage desk.
If this is an emergency, call 911. For health advice, call Health811 at 811.
EDFlow works for your hospital. The hospital is in charge of your health information. EDFlow only shows you what you need to follow your visit.
What we use
- Your first name and the first letter of your last name, or the name you chose.
- The steps of your visit and their times.
- The names of your tests and where each one is. Never your results.
- The names and roles of your care team.
- Your requests and the things on your to-do list.
We never store your last name or your date of birth. When you sign in, they are checked and then thrown away.
