Replace a lost card

Open the patient

From the board. Opening is recorded.

Reissue

Sharing & access → Visit card → Reissue. Choose the station.

Decide about devices

  • Card lost, patient still has their phone: leave Also sign out devices unticked. Their phone stays signed in.
  • Card given to the wrong person, or the patient doesn't recognize a device: tick it. Every device signs out, and the family links and text subscriptions those devices created end too.

The old card's QR and code stop working immediately. Reissuing is audited and counts toward the privacy office's monitoring rules.

"This wasn't me"

When a patient taps This wasn't me on their main phone, every other device is signed out and a Reissue card alert appears on the board. Reissue the card and give it to the patient in person.

Possible wrong-patient sign-in

If someone answers "No, that's not me" on the "Is this you?" screen, the board shows Possible wrong-patient sign-in on that visit. Check with the patient that they have the right card, reissue if needed, then clear the alert.

Sign out one device

Sharing & access → Patient devices lists each device (type, main phone, last seen). Sign out ends that device's session.

Revoke access

Revoke access signs out every device and ends the card, without printing a new one. Use it when the patient asks to stop using EDFlow.
